Recycled polymer is appropriate when mechanical properties and dimensional stability are laboratory-controlled and the customer’s line can run the grade’s melt-flow and molding window. Published figures for this grade include MFI of about 8 g/10 min (230 °C / 2.16 kg, ASTM D1238), tensile strength at yield of about 26 MPa (ISO 527), and Izod impact of about 3.5 kJ/m² (ISO 180).
Choosing recycled over virgin material should follow the part’s mechanical need, process conditions, and technical work with the supplier—not price alone. High-impact PP compounds in the same catalog also target automotive and agriculture.
